The Gallup Strengths Finder test says that I am a Maximizer, have Adaptability, am a Developer and an Includer, and strive for Connectedness. These strengths are the top 5 traits that define who I am and how I accomplish things. While they don’t define the whole of who I am, they give you a really good look into why I am the way I am and how I work.
Maximizer:
Being a Maximizer means that I strive for excellence and that I find no personal reward in creating something average.
Adaptability:
Having Adaptability means that I live in the moment and discover the future one step at a time. It also means that when a plan doesn’t work out I am right there willing to work through the issues. I try my best to live out the verse “Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.” – Matthew 6:34.
Developer:
Being a Developer means that I see the potential in others and am always looking for ways to help people stretch, grow, and improve themselves.
Includer:
Being an includer is exactly what you think it means — it’s about including everyone “regardless of race or sex or nationality or personality or faith.” Everyone should be a part of whats going on.
Connectedness:
Having Connectedness means that at the core of my being I know we are all connected in one form or another and we are all part of something way bigger than us. There are no coincidences–everything happens for a reason.
